Fair Account was established in 2002, by Paul Reynolds FMAAT, at the outset of the 'Lighter Touch' internal audit regulations for Local Councils. It has since become well known and respected for providing a top quality and independent Internal Audit service to Town and Parish Councils across the South and Southwest of England.

In 2011 Fair Account was delighted to announce an association with Lightatouch Internal Audit Service operated by Tim Light FMAAT and Past President of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
